
Vicky Kaushal’s latest film, “Chhaava,” continues its impressive box office performance into the second weekend. Directed by Laxman Utekar, this historical drama has amassed a total of ₹286.75 crore net in India as of its ninth day.
On its second Saturday, “Chhaava” garnered ₹44 crore, reflecting a significant increase from the previous day’s earnings of ₹23.5 crore. The film’s occupancy rates have shown consistent growth, with morning shows at 35.55%, afternoon at 53.98%, and evening at 61.82%.
The film’s success has not gone unnoticed; Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged “Chhaava” during his address at the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, highlighting its cultural impact.

“Chhaava” is based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel “Chhava” and features performances by Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. The film’s strong box office trajectory suggests it will continue to draw audiences in the coming weeks.
